The Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple is a historic twin temples complex dedicated to Lord Shiva, with Bhoga Nandeeshwara and Arunachaleswara being the main shrines.

Construction Period: It is believed to have been built during the 9th Century CE under the rule of the Nolamba dynasty.
Royal Patronage: The temple saw extensions and modifications under the patronage of several dynasties like the Ganga, Chola, Rashtrakuta, Hoysala, and Vijayanagara kings, resulting in a confluence of architectural styles.
Style: It is a prime example of the Dravidian architecture style.
Symbolism of Shiva's Three Stages: The complex is said to represent the three stages of Shiva's life:
- Arunachaleswara: Childhood of Shiva.
- Bhoga Nandeeshwara: Youth/Marital stage of Shiva.

Key Features: The walls and pillars of the temple are adorned with intricate and beautiful carvings depicting deities, animals, and scenes from mythology. The beautifully carved Kalyana Mantapa (marriage hall), built in the Hoysala style, is a major attraction.
Sringeri Teertha: Behind the temple, there is a picturesque stepped tank (Kalyani) called Sringeri Teertha, which is believed to be the source of the Palar river.
